Non-Surgical Face Lifts

As we age, we all start to wonder how we can prevent our face from showing it. You hear about people having cosmetic surgery in order tighten the skin on their face and turn back the aging clock. Cosmetic surgery is not only expensive but it is also dangerous. After several thousands of dollars a person my look younger or they may not look like themselves at all. Once you have a surgical face lift you cannot un-do the results if they are not what you had desired.

Because so many people have had unsuccessful surgery, research has been done to find a better way of enhancing the youthful look of our face and skin at much less cost and risk involved. We have all heard of creams, lotions, and serums that can tighten your skin and prevent wrinkles. Depending on the product and the ingredients, a person may be able to notice the skin looking softer and more vibrant after daily use. However, none of these creams are the magic potion that everyone has been seeking. These creams cannot actually fill in the hollow spots of the face or plump the muscles that have started to lessen due to age.

For this reason, new non-surgical face lifts are becoming extremely popular. For a fraction of the price, new technology is providing us a way to look great without undergoing surgery or spending all our money on promising miracle creams.  Non-surgical face lifts are also much less painful than recovering from cosmetic surgery.

By now you are probably wondering what exactly is involved in non-surgical face lifts. Well there are several places that offer different facial treatments and now you can even find products to purchase that allow you to perform your own treatments in the privacy of your home. Non-surgical face lifts can consist of laser treatments, micro-current facial toning, and Thermage treatments.

Laser treatments are used to tighten and resurface the outer layer of the skin and Thermage treatments specialize in using heat on the face to stimulate the production of collagen. The newest and most effective way to enjoy a natural looking face lift, without having surgery, is through the micro-current facial toning process. With this procedure the facial muscles are stimulated using a low intensity electrical current. By applying small metal rods to the face and sending these small waves of electricity to the muscles, they are tightened and the face starts producing collagen and elastin.  This may sound scary, but the intensity of the waves is so minimal that it is an easy, pain free process that shows immediate results.

As you can see there are some great alternatives to having cosmetic surgery in order to look great.  Before committing to a procedure that will cost you thousands of dollars, you should try some of these other, more natural ways to enhance your youthful, healthy look. You may be surprised at the results and realize there is a much easier way to achieve the same desired look.

botox actors
Why do so many Hollywood actors smoke?

Scarlett Johansson, Kirsten Dunst, Natalie Portman, Naomi Watts, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet, Charlize Theron, Matt Damon, Viggo Mortensen, Johnny Depp, Ben Affleck, Heath Ledger among others. If women in Hollywood are so concerned with their skin and in love with their Botox, don’t you think that they wouldn’t smoke? It seems that their smoking rates seem disproportionate to those of the general population.

To stay thin! Also, they all seem to have horrible caffeine addictions too. Between the coffee and the cigarettes, they are assured that they won’t overeat.
