Would LASIK resolve or worsen Dry Eye problem?
My eyes are getting drier after wearing contact lense for 15 yrs. I couldn’t wear contact lense comfortably for long hours & have to apply lubricant eye drops constantly. I’m 36 yrs old residing in Malaysia. Would LASIK resolve or worsen dry eye problem?
it’s unlikely to resolve it
dry eyes is one of the known (and ocacsionally permanent) side effects of laser eye surgery; if you have an existing condition, i don’t think this would help
