Can people with Multiple Sclerosis have breast implants?
Has anyone been diagnosed with MS and then had a breast augmentation later? I’m not asking about breast implants causing MS. I’d just like to know if it’s okay to get implants when a person is already diagnosed. I’m emberassed to ask my doctor and I haven’t gone in for my consultation yet.
And eh, don’t give me crap about boob jobs. It’s a personal choice and has nothing to do with the question.
Thanks guys!
I’m not an MD, but I’m a PhD who has worked in MS for 8 years. My opinion is: Yes, go ahead and get the implants. You’ll be sore and swollen for up to a week and will probably want pain killers the first couple of days and an anti-inflammatory but this should have no negative impact on your MS. Good luck!
my breast augmentation didn’t go to plan and i am still very unhappy with the way i look i had revision surgery done after the initial op but this still didn’t help ive seen the same procedure done on many other women and their outcome seems considerable better than mine even the ones done by NHS , i paid £6′500 for my op and wondered if anybody knows weather im entitled to any compensation.
Most likely you signed a release form and you will not be entitled to any compensation. Get a referral and go to another doctor.
Doctors and dentists can face complaints about pushing cosmetic treatments
When Carla Morelli made an appointment for a routine checkup at the Kentlands Dental Care in Gaithersburg, she didn’t request a cosmetic consultation. But that didn’t stop clinic staffers from offering up beauty advice. Dentistry – Health – England – London – Westminster Breast Enhancement Book Endorsed By More Than 100 Doctors
