collagen acne
What exactly does vitamin E do for acne scar?

I was wondering if Vitamin E is good for reducing redness from a pimple scar? Does vitamin e stimulate collagen build in some sort? How effective is vitamin e from your experience on acne scars?
Also, what other remedies do you recommend for fading scars or reducing scar redness? Thanks.

More recent studies show vitamin E does nothing. They now think it’s actually the rubbing/massaging of the scar when you apply some kind of ointment that helps with healing.

eye cream collagen
I have been using St. Ives AHA cream and Fruit of the Earth cocoa butter ceam to fight off wrinkles?

Do you think that a collagen filler would be useful? How about Vitamin E for the eyes? There was also a special retinol cream from Yves Rocher?

I highly recommend Arbonne’s anti-aging line.

lasik wavefront technology

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

Regarding LASIK surgery, is Custom Wavefront Lasik worth $800 more than Flying Spot Technology?

If someone could provide an educated opinion on the topic I’d appreciate it. My LASIK surgeon recommended either the Bausch & Lomb 217Z (flying spot) or the Bausch & Lomb Zyoptix (custom wavefront). When I search for articles on the web, all I get are articles promoting one or the other, but I cant find a comparison. It seems like the Zypotix comes higher recommended but is it worth an extra $800? Or is the improvement between custom wavefront over flying spot worth it?

it totally depends on your Rx and pupil size.

Rx over say -4.50 and/or large pupil size: need the expensive one

Rx under about -4.00 *AND* small or average pupil size: cheaper one is likely fine

wavefront LASIK Technology
