I am 90% sure that it is either B or D.
I need to know whether they are thick or thin collagen fibers.
If the fibers are made of the same material the thicker one will be stronger.
As a side note:
A) makes me think of carbon fiber composites which are designed to be light and strong. The fibers are usually woven rather than random, but they do go in all different directions because the fibers are strong when you pull on them and weak when you push on them. If they’re going in all directions you’re always pulling on some.
b) makes me think of a cable like you might see holding up a bridge.
c) I think this assembly would be strong because it will take some force to pull the fibers close together and then start to stretch them.
