Choosing The Best Night Face Cream

A natural night face cream is an essential part of a skin care regime, and care should be taken to choose the right one to avoid the harmful chemicals that so many today contain. A good cream will gently rejuvenate your skin, and provide essential nutrients to keep it in excellent health.

Plant extracts and natural oils in the best night face creams will help to gently pull out dirt and grime from the day and form a barrier to lock in moisture naturally.

In sharp contrast, many regular brands use mineral oil to keep in the moisture but this by-product of petroleum strips away natural oils and clogs up the pores, leading to rashes and potential long term health implications.

Parabens are another common ingredient used as a preservative but have been linked to cancer and interfering with the body’s endocrine system, which helps to regulate hormonal activity, and should be avoided.

While you sleep, the skin rejuvenates, especially between midnight and four in the morning and Avocado oil, Shea Butter and natural vitamin E help to sooth and soften the skin and strengthen the collagen to help fade wrinkles and lines.

A truly great ingredient is Phytessence wakame from Japanese sea kelp which delivers a stunning array of nutrients to your skin to drench it in goodness.

It contains more calcium than milk and is eaten fresh in its native Japan for its healthful properties, restoring lost firmness and elasticity and moisturizing deep down to maintain truly healthy skin.

Active Manuka honey in a night face cream is also effective, containing powerful antioxidants and antibacterial qualities to boost your immune system and revitalize your skin while you sleep, helping to give your skin round the clock care.

It will pay you to avoid the mainstream products you are maybe very familiar with and look to source your creams and lotions from other places like the smaller specialist companies that provide some of the exceptional ingredients I’ve outlined above.

They contain no harmful chemicals, no fragrances and only natural ingredients that work with your body, improving your general health as well and leaving you with a totally new skin care experience.

Now you know a little more about which ingredients to avoid and which to use, you can confidently go about choosing the best night face creams and enjoy healthier, younger looking skin with increased vitality and an even tone.

The Right And Wrong Way Of Preventing Eye Wrinkles

Sometimes people have the craziest solutions for preventing eye wrinkles. I had a woman and her husband tell me just last week that the single best way that they have found to prevent eye wrinkles was applying Preparation H to the area around their eyes. After a little bit of research I was shocked to find that remedies such as these are pretty commonplace.

What I think is a real shame is that people have to try to come up with home remedies for preventing eye wrinkles, because the cosmetics industry cannot formulate a product that will give them the results that they are looking for. If you are one of these people who are putting hemorrhoid ointment around your eyes because it’s more effective than the products that you’ve been buying I want to tell you that there are better solutions.

I say this because what you are doing when you use an astringent to prevent eye wrinkles is temporarily masking them. Tightening up your skin for a few hours may make you feel a little better about the way that you look, but it is doing nothing to solve the problems that caused you to seek treatment in the first place. These underlying problems are going to have to be addressed in order to truly solve your problem.

The reason that you have to find a solution for preventing eye wrinkles in the first place is that certain processes in our bodies begin to slow down as we age. These include the ability to produce collagen and elastin, the ability to efficiently remove fluid and hemoglobin from our eyes, and poor circulation. All of these factors play a part in why we appear as we do when we age.

There is a formula that was created by a company in New Zealand that produces all natural anti aging creams and lotions that is able to prevent eye wrinkles by returning these declining processes to normal. They do this first and foremost by providing you with an ingredient known as Functional Keratin that greatly increases the production rate of both your collagen and elastin.

Another ingredient that they use for preventing eye wrinkles is a sea kelp extract from Japan called Phytessence Wakame. What this ingredient does is that it returns your skin’s levels of hyaluronic acid back to normal. This tissue was not lowered by declining production, but instead was being broken down by an enzyme in your skin that the sea kelp extract deactivates.

The return of these three structural tissues is enough to prevent eye wrinkles, but the company goes a little bit further with the inclusion of Eyeliss and Haloxyl. These two ingredients combine to improve circulation to the area, speed up the fluid and hemoglobin removal process, and increase firmness under the eye by thickening you skin there.

Preventing eye wrinkles is better done with the right tools, and through the use of products containing these ingredients you are going to accomplish removing all of your lines and wrinkles, and not just the ones around your eyes.

Does Taking Collagen Powder Really Help Build Collagen?

Does taking collagen powder really help build collagen fibers in the dermis of the skin?  Does it support joint and bone health?  Is it an effective diet aid?  Will it help you build muscle and burn fat?  If you can believe the claims made by manufacturers that sell the powders, then the answer to all of these questions is “yesâ€.

But, you should never take manufacturers claims too seriously.  They are usually based on some small study conducted by the group that originally came up with the product.

Generally speaking, dietary supplements are only as good as the manufacturer wants them to be.  Specifically speaking, the only claim that can truly be applied to protein powders, whether they contain collagens or something else, is that they allow you to increase your protein intake, without greatly increasing your caloric intake.

So, what is the answer to; does taking collagen powder really help build collagen fibers in the dermis of the skin.  Do you get enough protein in your diet?  Dietary deficiencies cause a vast array of health problems and affect the appearance of your skin.

However, protein deficiencies are rare.  In addition, collagens are incomplete proteins, since they do not contain all of the essential amino acids found in meat, milk, fish, legumes and other foods.  A better choice for supplementation would be an amino acid complex, just in case you aren’t getting every one of them, every day.

With even a rudimentary understanding of human biology, it is easy to see that food, supplements and other things taken by mouth are broken down in the digestive system, until the molecules are small enough to be picked up and passed through the walls of the small intestine to enter the bloodstream and nourish the cells of the body.

So, what do you think?  Does taking collagen powder really help build collagen fibers in the skin, the joints or anywhere else in the body?  It is not likely to help, at all.  As a diet aid, it might be helpful, because it seems to make people feel full.

For the purpose of building muscle, the body needs increased protein intake.  Increasing lean muscle helps the body burn more calories when it is at rest.  But, collagens are not fat-burners.  Those claims are misleading.  Here’s another question.

Does taking collagen powder really help build collagen, like a nourishing cream can?  One of the reasons that collagen-supplements or other types of supplements are unlikely to improve the skin’s appearance is that the nutrients may not get to the skin.  But, if you apply them directly, they are assured to.

The best creams contain the protein keratin in a bio-available form that can be picked up and used by the skin’s cells.  Keratin is the protein that makes up about 95% of the epidermis, the five outer layers.  Collagens are only present in the two inner layers; the dermis.

Hopefully that answers many of your questions about; does taking collagen powder really help build collagen.  Now, you know what works. Please take a look at my website now.
