Best procedures to remove fine lines, fill or erase deeper lines, restimulate collagen beneath skin, look 25?

Obagi Blue Peels-immediate results, week max of downtime, one to four treatments for optimal benefit.. Fraxel Laser treatment-goes deep beneath surface to the dermis and stimulates collagen production so patient sees visible results immediately but dramatic results are gradual over a period of 2-6 months, requires 1-4 treatments also.. Restylin? Botox? there’s a new improved filler being approved for use this month-forgot the name-better than Restylin.. Carbon based laser treatments? what worked for who and how were the results?

Looks like you have really been doing your research!

I would say it depends on the depth of the lines and severity of the damage. CO2 Laser can take care of your skin in one session, but the downtime is several weeks and you may be pink and sensitive for many months afterwards.

A Blue Peel would be a good place to start and a deeper blue peel, ie 4 layers of 20% TCA may give you better results, although the downtime will be longer.

Also the Obagi Products, which you need to use to prepare the skin for the Blue Peel, are fantastic and you can continue to use them after you have healed.

I have had Erbium Laser Resurfacing which is somewhere between CO2 Laser and a TCA Peel. Results were modest, but still some improvement.

I’ve also had a permanent filler known as Bio Alcamid, although this was for creating cheek volume. Another permenanent filler called Aquamid may be better for smaller areas. There is also Sculptra and Isolagen.

I would start by using the Obagi products and then discuss with your doctor/dermatologist which treatment would yield the best results for you.

I’m not a big fan of botox and am not sure about how effective Fraxel is. There is also Intense Pulsed Light, which can treat discolurations and redness.

collagen nutrients

collagen nutrients
Some1 please summarize this article for me, in a big paragraph? Rest of article continues on my next question?

Remember those girls in school who smoked to look older? Well, they definitely got their wish, but probably not in the way they’d planned. “Smoking accelerates the natural aging process of the skin, which leads to premature wrinkling,” says dermatologist Dr. Sandy Scotnicki-Grant, medical director & owner of Toronto’s Bay Dermatology Center. “Smoking constricts blood vessels impeding blood flow and depriving the skin of oxygen & nutrients.” Makeup artist David Goveia puts it more bluntly: “Whenever a young model sits in my chair, I can always tell if she smokes. To a discerning eye, her skin has a grey and ashy undertone. Grey is unattractive. It’s a decline.” And, as Dr. Skotnicki-Grant points out, smoking accelerates the enzymes that break down the collagen and elastin that keep your skin firm and youthful. Smoking also causes depletion of the body’s vitamin C, which is needed for the synthesis of collagen.

Smoking accelerates aging of the skin.

Was it really that hard?

How shaving sharpens your prospects in love and life
As even cavemen knew thousands of years ago, the act of shaving removes facial hair (except, their method involved sharp rocks, which couldn’t have been much fun and which made removing neck stubble, in particular, an adventure akin to dodging the dreaded follicle-saurus).
Best Moisturizer:Befine ( results in 3 days) not tested on animals.
