How many years?

In 1996 CE (the common era), the skeleton of an ancient hunter was found in the mud under the water near the shore of the Columbia river in Kennewick, Washington. A tiny sample from the skeleton (collagen in the bone) was analyzed for carbon-14 and found to contain 0.362 as much of this isotope as is present in living organisms. When did the “Kennewick Man” die?

The half life of carbon-14 is 5730 years

___________BCE (before the common era)

3724 BCE
