Tattoo with a connective tissue disorder?
I have a form of Ehlers Danlos, resulting in loose collagen that bruises and tears easily. I heal really fast, and my body is otherwise normal. I REALLY want a tattoo, but I don’t know if the collagen issue would cause the ink to travel or something. I have several piercings with no problem
Go get a small tattoo in a hidden place. Like a star on your bum or something. That way you know for sure. All doctors will tell you it’s not a good idea. Don’t waste your time.
I have pyroderma gangrenosa and my tats turned out GREAT.
Best of luck!
Update to therapy and splinting for Ehlers Danlos
