do it yourself botox injections
best long term lip plumpers?

Hi, Im interested in having my upper lip enhanced slightly.
Ive read there are many procedures you can have done but I do not want botox or injections that get absorbed and give you trout mouth
are there any that can last for a couple of years as im not made of money.
Please dont reply to this message with anti- surgery(ness) I believe if it would make you feel better about yourself, why not.

nothing is going to last for that long. lip plumpers usually only last several hours. to get fuller lips you could try this:

1. Exfoliate your lips with a dry tooth brush or a warm wet face cloth to get rid of dry dead skin.

2. Apply concealer that is a shade lighter than your skin tone to your lips and lip line. Powder over with loose powder.

3. Line your lips just SLIGHTLY outside your natural lip line. Use a NATURAL color. Remember, a lighter color makes objects appear larger. Drawing in only one third of each lip line is crucial – go any further and you’ll make your lips smaller. Use a cotton swab to smudge the line slightly.

4. Apply a natural color lipstick using a brush. This will allow the liner and lipstick to blend easier. Avoid dark color.

5. Apply lip gloss at the center of the bottom lip. This will draw attention to the fullest part of your lip.

Good luck :)

botox for migraine headaches

Cure for Migraines Also Cures Wrinkles

The common injection used by every Beverly Hills facial plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery center for battling those frown lines, crows’ feet, and other facial lines and wrinkles is also, it turns out, a good way to battle migraine headaches. Botox for migraines is an increasingly popular procedure pioneered and patented by Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. William J. Binder.

As reported in Time magazine, “As many as 9 million of the estimated 28 million Americans who suffer from migraines find no protection or relief from pain killers or preventive medications… Half the 28 million Americans who get migraines never see a doctor about them.†The effects of migraine headaches can be reduced by several over-the-counter drugs. There are also whole classes of medications which are aimed at preventing migraine headaches from the start. These include beta and calcium – channel blockers that improve the flow of blood to the brain, anti-depressants that regulate levels of the brain chemical serotonin and various anti-inflammatory drugs and anti-seizure medicines (epilepsy and migraines, for reasons no one yet understands, seem to have common origins). Unfortunately, millions of migraine sufferers simply do not respond to such aforementioned treatments. For these patients, many are flocking to sunny California, where the favorite experts in Beverly Hills Botox – Botulinum Toxin A – reside. In Beverly Hills Botulinum Toxin (Botox) is a purified biological protein that is produced, under rigorous laboratory conditions, by the growth of Clostidium Botulinum bacterium. Botox, when injected, weakens and affects only the muscles that are treated. The safety profile of Botox is unparalleled in that there are no major or permanent side effects reported for cosmetic use in over 30 years and after millions of injections. The discovery of the Botox migraine treatment was a lucky accident. Plastic surgeons using diluted botulinum toxin to remove wrinkles started hearing about a secondary effect. “Patientsâ€, remembers Dr. William Binder, “came back saying ‘not only have my wrinkles disappeared, but my headaches are also gone.’†As word spread in the medical community, more doctors began offering Botox to their migraine patients.

does underarm botox hurt

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

Does getting Botox in your underarms to stop them from sweating really work?

I’ve been dealing with hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating in the armpit area) since early high school. My doctor suggested Botox in the underarms. Has anyone tried it? Does it work? Does it hurt?

“Botox is reportedly a favourite with Oscar nominees who don’t want to work up a sweat on the red carpet. Some stars have injections in their armpits to paralyse the sweat glands there. This way they can receive their awards knowing they don’t have sweaty patches under their arms and hand back their couture outfits unstained.”

“Hyperhidrosis is a troublesome problem that results in awkward social situations for those that are affected. For example, salesmen with sweaty palms are at a distinct disadvantage. Unfortunately, topical and oral medications, iontophoresis, and surgery have not proven to be efficacious in the majority of patients. In fact surgery can result in compensatory hyperhidrosis in other parts of the body.

“Because the eccrine glands are innervated by sympathetic nerves that use acetylcholine as the neurotransmitter, BOTOX®™ is effective in temporarily reducing or abolishing sweat production in treated areas. Although hyperhidrosis is generally not considered a cosmetic problem, many patients will present to the cosmetic dermatologist for treatment of this embarrassing disorder.”
